NEW AWARD FOR 2006 "ZAGAT SURVEY" Names Pole Creek Golf Club the Number 1 course in the Rocky Mountain Region. "On the southwestern edge of the Rocky Mountian National Park just 15 Minutes from Winter Park ski area is Colorado's No. 1 Course. "one of the best mountain" layouts anywhere; amid alpine scenery, jaw-dropping elevation changes and "beautiful views" of the Continental Divide, the "tight" and "Challenging" track climbs through "plenty of woods" into lodgepole pine country before it descends to flatter ground for a dramatic round that is "reasonably priced for resort" play."
